Chinese smartphone maker ZTE has expanded its product portfolio with the launch of Blade D2 in Vietnam. The company has priced the device at VND 2,690,000. Moreover, the company has not revealed any details about the global roll out of the device.
On the specifications front, the ZTE Blade D2 features a 5-inch HD display with 1280x720 pixels resolution. The handset runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop operating system and is powered by a 1.3 GHz quad-core MediaTek processor. It offers 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage which can be expanded further up to 64GB using amicroSD card.
ZTE Blade D2 comes equipped with a 5MP rear camera with LED flash and a 2MP front facing snapper for selfies. The connectivity attributes of the smartphone include 4G, LTE, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS and houses a massive 4,000 mAh battery. The manufacturer also claims that the smartphone can also be used as a battery charger for other devices.
Last month ZTE showcased two new smartphones at the Mobile World Congress 2016 named as ZTE Blade V7 and Blade V7 Lite. The company has not yet revealed the pricing details of the smartphones but they will be available in Spain, Ethiopia, South Africa and Mexico from this year.
