Wiio Mobiles has introduced a range of budgeted 3G smart phones in India. The company has launched 5-inch WI Star 3G smart phone at INR 3,999. The new offering catering to practical shoppers segment is exclusively available on eBay India.

On the query that why the company preferred online platform for its product, Mr. Ghai said that E commerce market in India is witnessing phenomenal growth and it provides the company a wider customer base and reach.
“eBay has a unique customer base and it would certainly help Wiio to reach to the masses”, he said.
Talking about potentials in the Indian smart phone market, Ghai said that the company sees lot of scope for expand in the smart phones segment with its smart and affordable offerings. He said that Wiio would focus on tier 2 and tier 3 cities especially in South and East where the company holds around 60 percent customer base.
Wiio WI Star 3G runs on an Android 4.42 KitKat OS. It is driven by a Dual-core 1.3 GHZ processor boosted by a 512 MB ram and supported by 2000m Ah battery. IT provides a memory space of 4 GB expandable upto 32GB and it has 5 MP front and 2 MP rear camera with HDR and panoramic shot. This official factory sealed product comes with a one year Manufacturer's Warranty. The company has launched 10,000 units of the smart phone on eBay India.
Mr. Ghai said that consumers can purchase the Wiio WI Star 3G through EMI through ICICI, Citibank and HDFC, credit cards. Cash on Delivery option for supported locations is also available on some products. Consumers can also redeem their PAYBACK points on eBay India.
Wiio mobiles is launched by a Jaipur based company Fortune Infovision Pvt Ltd having a decade of experience in IT and Mobile trade. Started in October 2014, has already made its space by successful launch of Octacore based Wiio WI 5.
