At a time when most of the IT events mean raising a toast and dining, The DQ Week is leaving no stone unturned to give a platform to the channel platforms to raise their voice, through its events. And the latest example of this is The DQ Week Tech caravan, which was recently held in Vizag. The event has left a strong impact on the the city's partners and vendors.

The Visakhapatnam Information Technology Dealers Welfare Association (VIDWA), which was started in early 90s, went defunct for various reasons. The DQ Week threw light on the issue through its news published in the newspaper dated May 10, 2012. The issue was also taken up at the Tech Caravan.

Anand Narla, CEO, Pioneer Marketing Services, thanked The DQ Week for the support rendered to the channel community in Vizag. "This forum can be taken as an opportunity for us to start revamping the association. Beyond business, we should start discussing on healthy issues. We should also conduct family meetings on a regular basis,"he said. Suresh Kolla, VP, VIDWA echoed similar views.

At the end of the event, it was unanimously decided to hold a meeting once again to select the new office bearers for the association, which will now be functional again and conduct activities regularly.
