Uttranchal IT Traders Association to conduct IT Vision 2011 in Dehradun

Uttranchal IT Traders Association, will
be holding a gala two-day IT Vision Summit- 2011 in Dehradun. To be
held on Dec 4 and 5, 2010, at Dehradun's parade ground, the upcoming
technologies will be showcased during this mega event, which will be
inaugurated by Harbans Kapoor, Speaker of Uttranchal Vidhan Sabha,
while Nitesh Jha, Additional Secretary-IT, Government of
Uttranchal, will be the guest of honor. This event will be sponsored
and backed-by the software major, Microsoft. Other sponsors include,
Intel, APC, DigiLink and D-Link. Speaking to The DQ Week,
Vikas Dewan, Secretary of the Uttranchal IT Traders Association and
CEO of Strategic Marketing said that, the basic objective of this
event is to display the products and technologies, that are expected
to dominate the year 2011. "This event is expected to be a huge
one, as we have invited all the government organizations of the
state, technical and engineering institutes, as well as schools,"
Dewan said. The upcoming summit has been hugely publicized in the
state of Uttranchal. All the major OEMs such as HP, Samsung, Acer,
Lenovo, Toshiba and Sony will be expected to showcase their products
and solutions at this event. According to Dewan, the major thrust
would be centered around software piracy, and Microsoft will offer
awareness programs to the reseller community of the region during the
two-day long event. The association that has close to 150 members,
have also invited college students in groups to get hands-on
information on next generation gadgets and gizmos.
