Uttarakhand IT Association to organize Diwali party

With Diwali preparations going on in full swing, the Dehradun based Uttarakhand IT Association (UIITA) organized a Diwali party on November 9. The association invited members from across the state including distributors to vendors.

Speaking to The DQ Week, Balbir Singh Rathore, president, UITTA said, "After a long gap and with the onset of the festive season we are conducting our general body meet. Post the meet, we indulged in Diwali celebration. It is imperative to celebrate the festival of lights together and share the happiness and togetherness of being the part of UITTA."

"The agenda of the meet was to discuss and finalize our activity calendar for the next year. At the meet, we distributed membership certificates and Diwali gifts to all active members. The body will soon finalize the dates for conduct blood donation camp, badminton tournament, IT Fair, New Year Eve, Cricket Tournament and Inter School IT Quiz-April 2013," added Rathore.
