Unboxed Xiaomi Red Mi 1s on flash sale

Xiaomi Redmi 1s will now be sold at even cheaper than that offered on Flipkart as GreenDust will be conducting a flash sale on 26 March 2015.

The models that will be sold will either be seal-opened but unused, or have some software issues which are fixed by Xiaomi later, hence would be refurbished. Due to limited stocks, GreenDust is allowing pre-ordering on its site www.greendust.com and has seen huge response from customers.

"We're looking at the possibility of having a model where GreenDust becomes a channel that brands and e-commerce companies can use to manage sale of their returned products while maximizing returns rather than using the unorganized sector and fly-by-night operators for liquidation which is fraught with risks." said Hitendra Chaturvedi, founder and CEO, GreenDust.

Open-box or unboxed phone will be sold for Rs 4,999 while the refurbished version will come with a price tag of Rs 4,599 a piece, with separate flash sales for both kinds. Both types of phones will have a six month warranty from the manufacturer.

"If this pilot is successful, we will execute all our flash sales with such amazing products at amazing price only through our mobile app – a first in India," he added.

Refurbishments have been conducted by official Xiaomi service partners. All products will be covered by GreenDust’s no question asked 15-day return guarantee and a six-month Xiaomi warranty.
