Recognizing the efforts and services to promote digital literacy among common people especially in rural Telangana, the State government has conferred the Telangana Information Technology Association (TITA) with the ‘Telangana State Formation Day Award - 2017’.
Digithon digital villages program of the TITA was especially appreciated and taken as basis for award by the government and this is the second consecutive award for TITA by state government. TITA Global President Sundeep Kumar Makthala dedicated the award to the martyrs of Telangana. He was awarded on the occasion of three years celebrations of state formation on Thursday. Makthala along with members of TITA visited the Gun Park and paid floral tributes to the Telangana martyrs.
“I am dedicating this award to the martyrs of Telangana who gave their precious lives for the State in which we are living with grace and self-respect”, said Makthala after paying floral tributes at Gun Park.
He thanked the Telangana Government for the award and vowed to continue his contributions towards making a prosperous Telangana in future. He said that programs under TITA would be carried out more intensely and widely across Telangana.
Digithon, Telangana Yuva Nirmaan and Telangana Innovation & Incubation Centre (TIIC) are the few major initiatives of TITA under the leadership of Sundeep Makthala. He has been actively participating in programs aimed at enhancing digital literacy among villages besides supporting the State Government in many IT related programs.
