Mumbai based Trade Association of Information Technology (TAIT)’s COM-IT expo is all set for its 7th edition. This year the theme of the event is "Witness Technology as you have never before". The three day event organized from November 20th to November 23rd will showcase IT products, services, solutions and offerings from mobility, security and surveillance.
The organizers of the event said that this year, the event is closely followed on various social media platforms.
Rushabh Shah, General Secretary of TAIT said, “This year, the promotion for the show is at a very different level. From entire local trains co-branded with COM-IT and exhibitors to bus backs, from pole kiosks to FM, from print media to digital media, from personal invites to emailers, the entire gamut of online and offline media is used to communicate the COM-IT messaging.
Mr. Champakraj Gurjar , chairman of COM IT said, “The IT industry is transforming at very fast pace. This year we have decided to focus on emerging verticals in the industry. We have also focused on educating people, especially the young generation regarding technology innovations. I am confident that this year also COM IT expo would be a grand success.”
The opening ceremony of the show is scheduled for 11 am on Thursday, November 20th. The opening will be graced by stalwarts of the IT industry and several people from the Government. Most of the prominent IT media also cover the event.
The opening ceremony will also bring the IT trade closer with several heads of Vendor companies, Distributors and other Associations are also expected to come in. The show attracts visitors from nearby cities of Maharashtra, Gujarat, Goa and MP.
Some of the prominent exhibitors in Com IT expo include: Samsung, Sony, Tata, LG, Dell, HCL, HP, Apple, Seagate, eScan, Quick Heal, Lenovo, I-ball, D Link, TP Link, Digisol, Asus, Canon, Intel, BSNL etc.
There are many exiting activities for tech savvies in the event such as special quiz "Chips and Bytes" to be held on all days for college students. The organizers said that over 20 colleges have agreed to participate in the quiz competition.
The organizers have opened plethora of prizes for visitors ranging from smart phones, tablets, printers, computer accessories, security software, etc in addition to the prizes to be given away for participants and winners of the Quiz.
The event management of COM-IT expo which will be organized at the Bombay Exhibition Centre, Goregaon (E) is done by Budha events.
