TAIT’s 7th edition of COM IT expo kicks off in Mumbai

Mumbai based Trade Association of Information Technology (TAIT) kick started its 7th COM IT Expo in Mumbai on Thursday. The event was inaugurated by Mr. Prakash Mehta, Industries minister of Maharashtra.

Inaugurating the event state Industries minister Prakash Mehta said, “Under the dynamic leadership of PM Narendra Modi at centre and Devendra Fadnavis in Maharashtra, we are focusing on business friendly policies for the speedy development of industries.”

On the concerns by IT channel over Online issue the online issue, the minister said that the government has concerns for small businessmen. He asked all the IT associations to submit memorandum on OLS issue.

Mr. Mehta said that the new government would emphasis on pro industry policies and speedy implementation of decisions.

Mr. Champakraj Gurjar, Chairman of COM IT Expo said, “COM IT Expo is a platform for showcasing new technologies. Every year we get tremendous response.”

Mr. Gurjar said that partners need to work together towards safeguarding their interest.

Mr. K R Chaube, president of TAIT said that with business dynamism is changing at a very fast pace, we need to update and upgrade ourselves with changing times. He said that all the stakeholders need to unite and implement best business practices.

Mr Chaube said that the chief minister office also gave compliments for TAIT IT Expo.

Bill Ye, Director and Country Manager, TP-Link India said that COM IT expo is a great platform for TP Link to show case there wide product range. TP Link also launched three wireless routers in the event.

TAIT’s founding members Paras Shah, Atul Mehta and Saurin Shah congratulated present executive body for the grand opening of the event.

This year the theme of the event is “Witness Technology as you have never before”. The three day event organized from November 20th to 23rd November, showcase IT products, services, solutions and offerings from mobility, security and surveillance.

The event management of COM-IT expo which has been organized at the Bombay Exhibition Centre, Goregaon (E) is done by Budha events.
