Swiggy extend services to Delhi NCR; to start deliveries in Greater Noida & Faridabad

In a bid to extend its service area and service timings, online food delivery startup Swiggy has now expanded its services to include Delhi-NCR. Also, it will soon start servicing in Faridabad, Noida Expressway and Greater Noida.

Swiggy is also extending the time limit till 2 A.M. in Gurugram, for which it has partnered with several local restaurants that deliver orders post midnight.

Delhi NCR is the second location, after Hyderabad, to receive deliveries past midnight.

Srivats TS, Vice President, marketing at Swiggy said, “As we introduce Swiggy in Faridabad, Greater Noida and Noida Expressway, these customers can now enjoy the benefits of Swiggy delivery in their areas as well. At the same time, restaurant partners in these locations will benefit from Swiggy’s growing customer base and increased order volume.”

Recently Swiggy launched its cloud kitchen, ‘The Bowl Company‘, in select areas of Bangalore like Koramangala.

Swiggy is currently operational in eight cities – Bangalore, Gurgaon, Hyderabad, Delhi, Mumbai, Pune, Kolkata, and Chennai. The company has raised $76 million from investors like Accel India, SAIF Partners, Bessemer Venture Partners and Norwest.
