Snapdeal’s reach extends Big Bazaar’s Maha Bachat Days to 451 cities across India

Big Bazaar’s Maha Bachat Sale on Snapdeal, India’s largest online marketplace, received an overwhelming response last week from customers across 451 Indian cities. Snapdeal was the exclusive on-line partner for the sale.

The top 5 cities in terms of volume were New Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, Lucknow and Pune. Amidst the smaller cities, buyers from Haldwani, Begusarai, Angul, Jind, Bellary, Erode, Bardhaman, Silchar, Kurnool and Aizwal were the most active.
Maximum sales were recorded for personal appliances and home categories. Philips, Bombay Dyeing and Larah Kitchenware emerged as the three most popular brands during the sale.  Amongst the Big Bazaar brands, the top performers were Dreamline (general merchandizing) , Wellberg (kitchenware) and Koryo (electronics).
