Punekars will no longer have to worry about servicing their vehicles. Autoyaar.com.com – an online marketplace for automobile servicing of two-wheelers and four-wheelers – recently announced the launch of its operations here in the city of Pune.
The startup is an on-demand automobile service platform providing an end to end solution to the service needs of two-wheelers and four wheelers. From periodic service, car spa, tyres, batteries or bike repairs and services all of these and a lot of other after sale services can be booked through Autoyaar.com in a few simple steps in an easy and hassle way.
It picks up the customers vehicle which is then inspected by its verified service providers. Constant tracking details are sent to the customer once the inspection begins, while the details of the person picking up the vehicle such as driving licence, etc., are also shared with the customer; all via SMS.
Bharat Ostwal, Co-Founder and Director, Vroom Technologies Private Limited said that the launch will simplify vehicle repairs and maintenance by helping Punekars make informed choices along with saving costs and without compromising on the quality of services of their two and four-wheelers. “After our successful opening in Ahmedabad before a year, we are very pleased to bring our servicing experience to Pune as there is an increasing demand for bikes or cars servicing in the city. We believe in providing complete transparency to our customers, which is one of our USPs,” he mentioned.
Headquartered in Ahmedabad, Autoyaar.com is the brainchild of four friends – Bharat Ostwal, Abhishek Gupta, Amisha Shah and Sunil Gupta – who launched their services in October 2015 and are sparing no efforts at achieving their aim of bringing trust and transparency in the auto-service space.
“Many office goers prefer to have their two-wheelers or four-wheelers collected after they get to their work area and to have it delivered in time to them before they leave for home. Customers can book for a service online in advance. We have standardised pricings of services. We also provide an online payment facility, post-service support through feedback calls as well as a three-month guarantee for re-repairs”, Ostwal added.
About 60 per cent of the automobile servicing industry in India falls under the unorganised segment. Autoyaar.com is unifying this unorganised automobile service industry into a single organised platform and it aims to change the face of the automobile service industry through a simple and user-friendly interface in order to tap India’s USD 2 billion after-sales automobile market.
Ostwal claimed that it is extremely unfair that the private workshops in India are branded as local garages despite providing good services at a very cost effective price. “Our vehicles are our cherished possessions. But no doubt, their repair and servicing is a tedious job. Lack of trust and transparency, compromised quality of service and disparity in pricing are the major issues faced by the consumer and eventually, consumers end up compromising on their vehicle’s service. That is why we built Autoyaar.com. We select service providers through a rigorous process of quality checks and ensure to remove all inconvenience and discomfort around vehicle maintenance and repair,” he said.
Currently, Autoyaar.com is bootstrapped and it quickly garnered more than 2000 customers in its home ground Ahmedabad before expanding to Pune. It plans to operate in other Indian cities such as Mumbai, Delhi, Hyderabad and Goa in a phased manner.
