Siemens launches IT learning

Mumbai-based Siemens Information Systems (SISL) has
launched its IT certification training initiative in partnership with UK-based
Wave Technologies. The courses will be initially conducted at Siemens IT
Learning centers in Chennai and Delhi.

The training is targeted at executives of both corporate
as well as IT professionals. The courses will include Systems Engineer and
Solutions Developer Track of Windows 2000, CCNA and CCNP of Cisco. The courses
will employ the Boot Camp Methodology, which ensures that the pace of the
courses matches that of an individual's learning, and will combine
instructor-led, self-study and mentoring sessions.

shortage of certified and trained Indian IT professionals both in the country
and overseas. The courses will ensure that professionals are trained in keeping
with the fast-changing technologies."
