SAP Concur announced its participation as a principal sponsor in The Global Business Travel Association (GBTA) Annual Conference 2018 to be held in Bangalore on June 15, 2018. GBTA is the leading business travel management association which organises similar conferences around the world. SAP Concur’s Managing Director, Neeraj Dotel is one of the speakers in the CXO Roundtable which explores ways to maximise ROI from business travel.

Corporate travel and spend is evolving at an unprecedented rate. Connecting processes – travel, expense, and invoice is one of the key asks of the finance team. SAP Concur helps companies of all sizes in completely automating the travel and expense (T&E) and AP management process, by providing visibility and compliance, helping companies do more with their existing budgets.

The GBTA conference will collaborate on using the best practices of business travel in India. According to GBTA’s analysis, business travel spend in India is expected to accelerate significantly and move from 10th largest global business travel market to 6th By 2019,  reaching over $45 billion by 2019. This provides companies like Concur a huge opportunity to reduce manual expense logging, thereby saving valuable employee work hours through automation.

The GBTA Conference Bangalore is scheduled for June 15th, 2018 at Sheraton Grand Whitefield Hotel & Convention Center. The conference will comprise of keynotes, panels discussions and roundtables on business travel, trends and scope of the corporate travel space in the Indian market, impact of GST on companies, ongoing innovations and technological progress on expense management.
