SAKRI targets retail, BFSI and education with Microsoft and Intel collaboration

SAKRI IT Solutions, a Pune based Value added distribution company has collaborated with Microsoft and Intel to launch Windows based tablets powered by Intel Processors in India, Malaysia and Bangladesh under the brand name “WINTAB”.

Ravi Lakshman is very upbeat on this new venture. SAKRI will be working exclusively on the Windows platform with Intel Processor based devices and intend to be market leaders in this domain. SAKRI will be augmenting its strengths in the retail, ecommerce and SME segment by working with various ISVs to enhance their offering capabilities to cater retail, BFSI and education sector.

Along with this Sakri in partnership with Flipick is going to provide adaptive learning online courses for higher education and competitive exams like CAT, JEE, AIPMT, banking and CPT. The course content includes interactive reading material, recorded video lectures, animations, formative assessments and digital analytics. “Flipick courses are self-paced; the assessments enable the student to identify areas of his/her strength and weakness” says Ravi Duggal, president, Flipick. Content for these courses is from Pearson Education.

Madhu Awatramani, director, Datacomp added that “Datacomp is a Microsoft Gold partner and is working very closely with Microsoft and Sakri to release TabMagic-Wonderplans on the windows tablet platform. TabMagic-Wonderplans is the most widely used product by thousands of LIC advisors/agents across the country. TabMagic on windows platform will redefine the usage of tablet by an LIC advisor and add multiple creative dimensions in his day to day operations. This application will help improve agent’s productivity and enhance LIC customer experience.”
