Ricoh to expand IT solutions and services in South India

Ricoh has announced expansion of IT Solutions and Services in the South India region. Ricoh has adopted Business Process Consulting approach to help the key industry verticals like BFSI, Healthcare, Manufacturing and Education by creating industry-specific solutions for these segments.

It provides IT Infrastructure Services, including Data Center solution, Network and Security, Virtualization, Infrastructure Management and Cloud Software. It has developed a Rapid Deployment Business Platform called “RicohDocs” which enables enterprises to quickly deploy applications like CRM, HRMS, Hospital Management Software and Campus Management System, etc.

The platform is available on both cloud and on-premise versions. Earlier this month, Ricoh also forayed into the multimedia solutions for K12 School, with the launch of Ricoh Tech Class. A state-of-the-art solution designed for Indian schools that offers modern multimedia classroom with world-class content.

Manoj Kumar, executive vice president and CEO, Ricoh India, said, “We forayed into IT services three years back, keeping in mind that today’s customers are looking at partners that can develop and provide customized solutions. Our strong capabilities in the domains of Imaging, Communication and IT Services have enabled Ricoh to emerge as a one-stop business solutions provider. IT services is one of our key growth engines which contributed to 45% to our total revenue last year. In the coming years, we would like to expand our business and increase its contribution to 60% of our total revenue.”

With the changing dynamics of business needs, Ricoh has transformed itself into an integrated solutions provider to fulfil the unique needs of customers across different industry verticals in a holistic manner.
