Regional Resellers shine in the DQ Week ITDC Conclave and Awards 2015

The DQ Week rewarded various stakeholders in the IT distribution industry in its 2nd IT Distributor Conclave and Awards 2015 organised at Ramada resort in Udaipur on 7th and 8th August, 2015. The distribution network is gaining a lot of significance in the changing business scenario, and the DQ Week ITDC Conclave and Awards recognises the resellers, sub distributors, regional, national distributors and IT associations who have done exceptional work for the channel nourishment.

This year, the DQ Week honoured three pioneers in the IT industry for their incredible contribution in the growth of the industry. Suresh Pansari, Managing Director of Rashi Peripherals was honoured with the Hall of Fame Award for his lifelong contribution in building one of the country’s foremost distribution houses, helping IT penetrate into tier 3 and tier 4 locations and for helping several multinational vendors develop their business in India. Similarly, Paras Shah, Founder and CEO of neoteric Informatique honoured with the award for his foresight, and unflinching determination and passion to provide best quality IT products and services. K L Lalani, chairman of Lalani Infotech hounered with the Hall of Fame award for his visionary role in developing the fledging IT market in the East, realising.

Iris Computers which is one of the pioneers amongst the NDs in the country honoured with the fastest growing National Distributor award.

This year the DQ Week constituted a special category of awards called ‘Achievers’ Club’ to honour those distributors who are rapidly growing in their respective regions. Kolkata based Savera Marketing Agency, Mumbai based Hardtrac Computers, Delhi based Modi Infosol and Bangalore based Kruti Comp received the Achievers’ Club award.

The DQ Week awarded the best regional distributors. Kolkata based Technocrat Infotech won the Best Regional Distributor Award for East region. Similarly, Pune based Sujata Computers won the award for the West region. Chennai based Supreme Computers won the Best Regional Distributor award for the south region and Noida based Park Network won the award for the north region.

The DQ Week also honoured the Sub-distributors for their extraordinary performance during the previous financial year. Kolkata based Park Network was awarded Best Sub-Distributor for east whereas Mumbai based Venktron Digital Systems won the Best Sub-Distributor award for West. Bangalore based Digicom Systems won the award for south and Delhi based Graphline Computers won the award for north.

The DQ Week recognised the resellers who outperformed during FY 2014-15. Narender Dhanuka of Galaxy Computech, Kamal Aggarwal of Ria Computers, R Shridhar of Triangle Technologies and Alok Tondon of Interlink Information Systems honoured with the Best Reseller award.

Similarly, the DQ Week honoured the Best Upcountry Partners such as ABS infotel (Vadodara), Peripheral Engineers (Patna), Phoenix Infoways (Coimbature), Datamation Services (Guwahati) and Netline Infotech (Ludhiana), won the Best Upcountry partner award.

The DQ Week also honoured the IT Associations for their contribution for the channel nourishment. Information Technology Association of Orissa (ITAO), Punjab Association of Computer Traders (PACT), All Kerala IT Dealers Association (AKITDA), Vidarbha Computer & Media Dealer's Welfare Association (VCMDWA) and All Delhi Computer Traders Association (ADCTA) honoured with the Best IT Association.

The ITDC Conclave and Awards is a remarkable platform where India’s leading distributors, resellers , sub distributors, IT Associations and Value Added Resellers stand together to discuss the new strategies and technologies for growth and future of IT.
