RCTA organizes Cricket tournament for Saurashtra IT Associations

With an aim to bring all IT associations in Saurashtra on a common platform and encourage bonding among the partners, Rajkot Computer Traders Association (RCTA) had recently organized Cricket tournament in the city. Four IT associations from Saurashtra region participated in the championship.

The RCTA Reo Cup 2015 organized on 25^th January received huge response from partners. IT associations namely: Jamnagar Information Technology Association (JITA), Bhavnagar Information Technology Association (BITA), Junagad IT Association and Morbi IT association participated in the tournament. There were four teams from RCTA. All 8 teams played fiercely for the cup. The final match was played between JITA and RCTA where JITA defeated RCTA by four wickets.

Nilesh Shah, treasurer of RCTA said, “Gujarat is famous for its craze for Cricket. We used this platform to strengthen bonding among our partners. This is the 8^th year of the tournament and like every year this time also the response was phenomenal.”

On the query on FAITA’s call for purchase boycott, Shah said that RCTA will be closely following the directions by FITAG who has extended its support to FAITA.
