RCTA Blood donation camp drew mega crowd

Rajasthan Computers Traders Association RCTA, not only work for benefit of association members but also active in taking initiatives in social causes, for this Association in collaboration and Raisar Maintenance Society collaborates with Terapanth Yuvak Council organized a blood donation camp at Raisar Plaza, Jaipur, which was a huge success.

A large number of people came to volunteer to donate blood. Jaipur MLA, Mohanlal Gupta also participates in the initiative, seeing presence of local people at the camp, he accolades people’s passion for social cause and commented raktdaan as mahadaan, as enthusiastic donors were pressed in line waiting for their turn.

268 blood donors nominated themselves for donation till 5PM and event organizers were hoping to collect 100 units of blood, but due to lack of resources only 230 people were able to donate blood.

RCTA commented on the occasion, “After seeing people passion for donating blood, we can say that IT business people not only concern about business, but also concerns about social service.” Later after the event it was imposed that a new record has been set up of maximum units collected in blood camps organized so far.
