And this time the target is the AAM AADMI PARTY (AAP). the cyber criminals are using the party as the bait to attract users to submit their login credentials on a fake Facebook page.

As the country continues to go into elections in the next few weeks, Symantec advices users to remain vigilant of their online behavior and not fall prey to simple trickery.

This trend of Newsjacking current and popular topics to create phishing emails/websites has become a regular activity for cybercriminals.

According to Norton Report 2013, India is among the world's top five countries for the highest incidents of cybercrime; and phishing contributes to whooping 9 percent of the incidents.
