An issue has recently come in highlight where Channel partners have raised it in front of the media. The issue has been floating between partners and vendor from last 6 months but no one is getting the satisfactory solution to resolve that matter.
As per the partners concern, an American global networking company Netgear is not fulfilling its commitment to partners. Said company has committed on the sale target/ on billing to partners but now to depart with partners and commitments.
Jai Kumar Jain, Owner, IDM Solutions, Gurgaon informed The DQ Week and said, “I was dealing with Netgear from so long and company has committed us on billing and now they are refusing. With the supervision of Vipin Singh, RM Delhi Netgear, we sold and purchased goods and he committed the sale target in verbal. We are also facing the warranty issue with Netgear. As per my knowledge, RM committed with the partners because he wanted to complete and achieve his target, However we are continuously communicating since 6 months with the Vendor and raising the issue but company is not responding and refusing to take action on it.”
However, after the issue came in front of Netgear, company had fired Vipin Singh who was the Regional Manager for Delhi.
Shiv Kumar, Compusoft, Delhi reacted on the issue and said, “ There was the issue raised from the tier 3 partners that the Vendor has not fulfilled the commitments which have been committed by them. The issue has been raised by Partners from Nehru Place, Lakshmi Nagar, Wazirpur and Gurgaon few months back. As per them, Netgear RM has committed to the partners on billing but it was not in writing. When partners asked for it, the company refused.”
“However, I am also doing business with Netgear from so long but I haven’t faced such issues with the company. Also, company is good at their support, after sales service and warranty”, he added.
Swaran Singh, Secretary, ADCTA said, “Partner has raised the issue in front of association and we took immediate action on it and started communication with the vendor. Marthesh Nagendra, Country Manager, Netgear also visited Nehru Place and met with ADCTA members to highlight on the issue. However, Netgear has asked ADCTA for not involving in the matter as company is taking legal action on this matter.
The DQ Week tried to connect with Netgear many time over the phone and email for their comments on the issue but was not able to get any revert till the story has gone to the press.
