Ortel signs Tirkey

Ortel Communications Ltd has signed up hockey player -
Dilip Tirkey to be the brand ambassador for its broadband seervices. Disclosing
this on Tuesday during a press conference, BP Rath, VP-Corporate said, "Tirkey
is a pride of Orissa. Despite difficulties, he has grown to be a world class
hockey player and captained the Indian hockey team." "In fact Tirkey's
world class stature and simplicity compliments world class broadband services
being provided by Ortel," added Rath. According to CR Nayak, Sr Manager
Marketing, Ortel is the first private ISP in the country to bring state of the
art technology to provide broadband service for its customers in Orissa.
"Local values with superior class makes Ortel as well as Tirkey versatile
in their respective fileds," quipped Nayak. According to NK Singh, Manager
Marketing, "Not many people are aware of Ortel's DOCSIS 2.0 broadband
technology."

"Being almost 50 times faster than the dial up
technology followed by some competitors, it gives value for money to the
customers. Tirkey's superiority in his field is a perfect match with our
superiority in broadband technology," said Singh.
