which provides programmable
graphics processor technologies, has planned to expand the NVIDIA
PartnerForce program to support its channel partners to meet the
growing consumer demands, along with the recent release of the 3DTV
Play software in India. “We would like to extend the dedicated
program under which we create a personalized micro-site for our most
valued customers to access information. We are striving to make this
program even more beneficial and relevant to the members. This is an
ongoing process,” said Nishant Goyal, Head-Sales, NVIDIA (South
Asia).

According to the company, channel
partners have been eagerly signing up for the program. We have more
than 3,500 resellers registered with PartnerForce program. It is a
platform for them to access all NVIDIA information in one place,
including training and marketing material as well as special schemes
and offers available only for PartnerForce members. "We appoint
partners where there is an opportunity to develop the ecosystem for
our technology and products. Our most recent announcements have
focused on relationships which complement our 3DVision, Tesla and
CUDA technology. Based on the feedback from our distributors, we
found that channels in non-metros-especially in smaller towns-did
not have a platform to upgrade their technical knowledge about our
products. To overcome this challenge we have designed two
programs—the PartnerForce Program and NTRAIN, "said Goyal.

Experiencing a growth of about 100
percent in the first and second quarter of this fiscal year through
the company's channel partners, Goyal said, “We believe that our
channel partners are the extended family of NVIDIA. Our channel
partners are the face of our products, they interact with end
consumers and play a very important role in propagating the 3D
message.” To assist partners, a variety of customizable marketing
tools are available on the PartnerForce Portal to promote the 3D
Vision PC category such as web banners, landing page templates, and
customizable image files of 3D Vision compatible LCD monitors
simulating the out of screen 3D effect with popular game titles.

Not only the company has partnered with
the channel community, but also works closely with various OEMs/ODMs
to develop the best product solutions technology. Goyal said,
“Recognizing the growing popularity of 3D, Original Equipment
Manufacturers (OEMs) are gearing up to meet consumer demand. The
growth potential is huge and we have started experiencing it in the
form of OEMs launching products for this segment and wide variety of
choices to make.”

Also, NVIDIA has brought the 3D
experience within reach of gaming enthusiasts, by launching the 3D
Vision and partnering with several consumer technology brands such as
Acer, Alienware, Asus, BenQ, Connoiseur, Dell, Fuji, HCL, Panasonic,
Samsung, Sony and ViewSonic. NVIDIA has been working with companies
such as Cyberlink to convert 2D movies into 3D.
