Nvidia opens design center in Pune

Nvidia Corporation, the worldwide leader in programmable

graphics processor technologies, today announced the ope­ning of its design

center in Pune. The new facility marks Nvidia's continuing expan­sion in the

Asia-Pacific region.

The Pune facility will be equipped as a state-of-the-art

data center allowing the design of technologies for a wide range of products and

platforms.

Since its founding, Nvidia has invested over $1 billion

into research and develop­ment. As it expands into new product areas, including

handheld graphics processors for mobile phones, the company intends to broaden

its research and development investment on a worldwide basis.

ability to create innovative technology,” said Jen-Hsun Huang, Co-Founder,

Presi­dent and CEO, Nvidia Corporation. “India is highly strategic to Nvidia
