After launching Vivo V5s in April this year, the Chinese smartphone maker has introduced a new colour variant of the handset. Customers now have an option of 'Energetic Blue' colour for the smartphone. The smartphone is priced at Rs 17,990, and users can get up to Rs 17,000 off by exchanging their old smartphone.
Apart from the colour, all other specifications of the Vivo V5s remain the same. The smartphone has a 20MP front-facing camera with Vivo's signature 'Moonlight Glow' feature.
As far as the specifications are concerned, Vivo V5s features a 5.5-inch HD display of 720x1280 pixel resolution with a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass. It is powered by a 1.5GHz octa-core MediaTek chipset with 4GB of RAM. There's 64GB of internal storage, with support for microSD cards of up to 256GB in size.
Running Android 6.0 Marshmallow with Vivo's FunTouch OS 3.0 layered on top, the V5s has a 3,000mAh battery. Connectivity options include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS/GLONASS, USB OTG and microUSB. There's also a Hi-Fi audio system with AK4376 audio chip.
Speaking about cameras, Vivo V5s has a 13MP primary camera (with LED flash) and as mentioned above, a 20MP front-facing snapper with 'Moonlight Glow'. Unlike regular flashes, it doesn't make the picture look chalky-white, but adds a natural glow to the subject's face.
