New team of Confed-IT assumes office

Installation ceremony of Confed-ITA – New team 2016-17 was held at Kovalam, UDS resort on May 7th& 8th 2016. It was the 9th Summit of CONFED ITA and the theme was – MAKE AN IMPACT.

Summit chairman R.Balasubramaniam called the meeting to order and welcomed the gathering. Our Special Chief guests Thiru. Bharathy Krishnakumar (Film director, writer) addressed the gathering on current life style and asked to extend hands to educations needy. Our guest of honour Thiru.N. Sivanesan (President, Federation of all traders & industries association, Erode) spoken about the industries trend setting in the current scenario.

During the business session, the previous Confed-ITA team 2015-16 led by Senthil Kumar submitted their reports for the period (2015-16). M. Senthil kumar spoke about their achievements during their tenure.

The new team of Confed-ITA for the period 2016-2017 is as follows. R. Balasubramaniam (EDITA) Erode – PRESIDENT , K.Vijayan (CMITA) kumbakonam – Secretary, T.Kumar (CDAT) Tirunelveli-Treasurer, A.Rajkumar (KITA) karur – vicepresident, S.Rajesh (NITA) Ooty–JS1 & E.Eswaravelu (Kanchee-ITA) kanchipuram – JS2.

Total Delegates of around 600 attended this year’s summit representing 24 district associations. South India’s states Associations like Kerala , karnataka & A.P. had delegates participating in our summit. AKITDA representing Kerala IT association leaders welcomed the gathering and started the meeting since the event happened at their own state.

The aim of the new team is to support and uplift all the members for their individual business growth and development & more view on welfare of our members. We would be focusing on members unity and welfare along with relationship with vendors, each other with mutual business relationship. We need to find smooth solutions for online disturbance to our business community.

New president told DQ Week his action plans, “The plan of action for this year other than our regular projects are to Conduct a G2G Meet with vendors. We also have plan to purchase land for our Confed-ITA Family at least this year. As every year, we have planned Accident Insurance policy & also medi claim policy to family members of Confed-ITA. Sports activity Cricket and badminton to our 24 district associations will be done. Great team work will make us to achieve more mile stones in this challenging year. We are sure that we will MAKE AN IMPACT- in the Confed-ITA – ERA”.
