NECTA Supports GST Manthan in Guwahati

The Government of India is fully geared for the implementation of the goods and services tax (GST), on the other hand there are sections of the society getting ready for the same. Before the implementation of the tax, it is really important to groom people about GST and its implementation which NECTA (North East Computer Traders Association) understands well.

The association of North East Computer Traders recently supported an event held in Guwahati. The event was organized by State Commissioner of Taxes in association with NECTA and other local trade bodies to spread awareness on GST.

Trideep Chandra Talukdar, President, NECTA shared that, “The Secretary, Revenue, Dr. Hasmukh Adhia along with Assam State Finance Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma inaugurated the session with other officials, and the event really helped the attendees in the manthan of GST and all the major doubts were discussed in the session”.

Other than NECTA, there are many IT traders associations who are trying to work on the manthan of GST and making their members aware about the same, but while all are getting ready for the implementation, many doubts have been cast on the practicality of meeting the deadline of the tax.
