The CAN IT Expo organized by the Computer Association of Nashik ( CAN) concluded in huge zeal on Sunday. The three day technology event organized in one of the fasted growing city in Maharashtra received a huge response from citizens.
The organizers said that the expo received good response from exhibitors as well as visitors. Around 80 exhibitors showcased their offerings at the event. The organizers claimed that the event got footfall of nearly 25,000 visitors.
“After a gap of seven years, CAN restarted its flagship event. We are very happy with the response from the people. All the Exhibitors were very much satisfied with the venue, management of the event and about the variety of visitors”, said Mr. Rajesh Kshatriya, president of CAN.
The exhibition venue for completely Wi-Fi enabled by D link and also covered under CCTV surveillance by CORE CCTV. CAN organized seminars on various technology topics to spread awareness about technology trends in the industry. Topics such as Cyber Security, Cloud application for SME's, Harnessing solar energy for IT segment, E-waste management, Wireless sensor network, Social media security and Kumbha Mela & Energy Conservation were covered in the seminar.
CAN also conferred awards to the best stalls. Significantly, to avoid biases, CAN committee members refrained themselves from the short listing process and selection was done by Mr. Girish Pagare, Computer Society of India. Logic Systems were awarded with the Best Stall Award, Nice Computers received awards for Best Decorative Award for HP and RAP Multimedia received the Best Innovative Award.
Mr. Kshatriya said that CAN would undertake such initiatives for the betterment of channel community in the future as well.
