After the success of the second generation of Moto G smartphone, Motorola has announced the third generation of Moto G. The new Moto G comes in 8GB and 16GB ROM options at Rs 11,999 and Rs 12,999, respectively. Both the versions support 4G connectivity while the 8GB internal storage offers 1GB RAM and the 16GB variant has 2GB RAM. Both supports microSD cards. Rest of the specs are the same. The new Moto G smartphone will be available only on Flipkart from July 28 midnight
Motorola has surprised us by adding IPX7 certification to the new Moto G. This means the device is dust and water-resistant. The new Moto G is immersible in up to 3 feet of water for 30 minutes. The device offers dual-SIM card slots and is built to give tough competition to the likes of Xiaomi, Asus, Lenovo and others. Moto G (Third Gen) sports a 5-inch 720p HD IPS display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection.
Running stock Android 5.1 Lollipop OS, it runs on a 1.4GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor coupled with an Adreno 306 GPU. It houses a 13MP rear camera with dual-LED flash along with a 5MP front camera and is powered by a 2,470mAh battery.
