Motorola Mobility has announced the appointment of Amit Boni as general manager of India. Boni will lead the team across the country and be responsible for the Go-to-Market strategy.
With Amit's long and successful track record within Motorola and experience in the industry, he will play a pivotal role driving forward the business in the region.

Our products are doing extremely well and with Amit's extensive market experience and a rich perspective on the segment, we will continue to grow in India. The India market is absolutely critical to Motorola and Amit's appointment into this role is testament to that,' said Magnus Ahlqvist, corporate VP, EMEA and APAC, Motorola Mobility.

We are building the Motorola business for the long term and I'm excited about what the future holds," added Amit Boni.
Amit's first assignment was with Microland, Bangalore. After completing his MBA from MDI Gurgaon, he joined EVS and Honeywell from 2004 to 2010 his key responsibility in the organization was involved in work on strategic planning and strategic marketing.
In early 2010, Amit joined Motorola Mobility taking charge of GTM strategy and sales operations for the Asia region of Motorola.
