Micromax foraying into the laptop segment, indigenous handset maker Micromax launched their first ever laptop in Jaipur. Rajesh Agarwal , MD Micromax and Vasundhra Raje, Chief Minister, Rajasthan launched this laptop in an event in Jaipur.
Powered by the latest Windows 10 operating system, Lapbook caters to the affordable segment who are merely looking for a PC alternative and what better way than to buy a laptop. Priced at Rs 13,999 Micromax will be selling the Lapbook via Snapdeal from October 9 online with offline selling prospects curtailed for a later date. Micromax aims to garner 10% market share in the next 12-18 months. Micromax will compete with the likes of HP, Dell and Lenovo.
“We are ongoing process for taking distribution for this new product of Micromax in pan India. In next few days we will launched this product as National Distributor. Micromax has launched a very light weight laptop. It has best technology innovation and it defiantly close the gap between consumer needs and available device” said Himanshu Kohli, Director, Comexcell Infotech.
“We are also getting good reviews from different partners that the sound quality is much better then music system at home” he added.
