Kaspersky Lab recently conducted nine training programs for partners' engineers, out of which eight were technical trainings and the remaining 1 was a sales training. The format was a two-day training course with hands-on lab exercises.
In South the training program took place in Hyderabad and Bengaluru. Kicked-off along with the launch of Kaspersky Endpoint Security for Business (KESB), the trainings are part of the ongoing partner enablement undertaken by Kaspersky Lab for its B2B partners. Till now, more than 77 engineers got trained in the program that was participated by over 49 partner organizations from across South Asia.
"In order to sustain our growth momentum, partner enablement is one of our key imperatives in FY 2013. We have embarked aggressively on the B2B training front, and we believe partners will derive value from our program as the unified nature of our new KESB solution ensures training costs are reduced," said Altaf Halde, Managing Director, Kaspersky Lab - South Asia.
"We would like our valued partners to be able to take full advantage of the newly launched solution. We believe the technical training will help partner organizations to upgrade their skills on our newer technologies, helping them to enhance their offerings to existing and new customers," said Pranav Bhayani, Technical Support Manager, Kaspersky Lab - South Asia.
The key content of the training program focused on Technical overview of KESB, hands-on walk-through on features, configurations, Migration (KSC9 to KSC10, EP8 to EP10), Encryption, Systems Management, Introduction to KESB (messaging), Licensing of KESB v/s KOSS, New Components in KESB, Targeted Solutions & KSV product.
KESB, the company's new flagship security platform for businesses, is built to provide the industry's best protection from advanced malware and cybercrime, and also to combat another common enemy of IT security - complexity. KESB is a single, unified platform, created by Kaspersky Lab's engineers from a single code base. Through ONE platform, ONE console, and at ONE cost, IT administrators can see, control and protect all systems and endpoints within the organization's IT infrastructure, whether it's a PC down the hall, a virtual machine in another office, or a missing smartphone across the country.
