Karbonn has launched a new budget handset ‘Titanium S99' in India.
The new entry level Karbonn phone sports a 4.0-inch IPS screen and comes with latest Android v4.4 KitKat OS, 1.3GHz quad-core processor, 512MB RAM, 4GB (expandable upto 32GB) and 1,400 mAh battery.
Priced at Rs 5,990, it boasts of 5.0-megapixel main camera with LED flash, a 0.3-megapixel (VGA) snapper on the front for video chatting and also features standard connectivity features like 3G network support, dual-SIM slots, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and GPS.
Even though Titanium S99 competes neck-and-neck with the popular Moto E in terms of hardware specification and price, it still falls short in one key important aspect, RAM capacity which is related to smooth functioning of the smartphone; it comes with 512MB physical memory, whereas the Motorola phone comes with 1GB RAM.
