ITAO Exhibition: Five days of hard work comes to an end

ITAO has organized the Mega IT Exhibition from 6th to 10th November 2014 in association with Dept. of IT, Govt. of Odisha as co-organizer and OCAC in AC hangers at Unit III, Exhibition ground, Bhubaneswar.

Many events along with the expo have also been seen. Cultural program evening on 8^th and 9th as well a ‘SAND ANIMATION’ program on 10^th November during the closing ceremony evening has been conducted.

Minister of IT,  Pranab Prakash Das, Dep. of IT, Govt. of  Odisha, MP Tathagata Satapathy, Gokul Chandra Pati, IAS, chief secretary, Govt. of Odisha, Pradeep Kumar Jena, IAS, principal secretary to Govt., Dept. of IT, Govt of Odisha.  Chief speaker Amit Malik, director, operations sales, Cisco Systems India and SAARC others who present were ITAO president Arun Kumar Dey, VP, Sukant Mohanty, Dayananda Ratho, secretary of ITAO and Jt. secretary of Confederation of Indian Information Technology Association (CIITA), treasurer, Satyajit Panda and all ITAO members along with IT fraternity of Odisha.

The grand opening ceremony started around 6 pm and everybody participated in a very cordial manner. This year maximum of the big IT Software and Hardware manufacturing and service vendors participated in ITAO IT EXPO 2014.

Cisco was the main sponsor for this event along with ASUS being the co-sponsor. Other Sponsors were Digisol, TE Connectivity, D-Link, Kaspersky Lab.

Pavilions were taken by ASUS, HP, Apple, Alcon, Lenovo, Intex, Acer, and Dell. Participating vendors were IT Department, Govt. of Odisha, K7, NCS, TP Link, Zebronics, Konika Minolta, Kaspersky, Microtek, D-Link, Quick Heal, TE-Connectivity, Epson, Netlux, V-Guard, Maxsecure Anti Virus, Panasonic, JBL Harman, Protronics, Samsung,iball, AOC, Huwai, Habbit, Digisol, Ncomputing, LG, Uniline, NPAV, Tenda, Fortune, Intel, Neumeric, Shiva Power, Shakti Stabilizer, Zyxel, Canon to name the heavyweights.

In AC conference hall, the committee had planned Cisco, ASUS tech seminars and Quiz competitions. Over 50 stalls and pavilions were occupied by most trusted and known brands from IT Industry. This time other than IT companies, Telecom companies, Electronic Surveillance companies, Video Conferencing and GPS Tracking System providing companies were part of this expo to showcase their products.

The vendors companies were provided with pavilions and stalls in the AC hanger where they exhibited their products and services involving the local dealers from the state.

“By this way the consumers of Odisha will have the advantage of price and value for the product. This also eliminates the price war between local dealers which affects the market even after the IT EXPO. This IT EXPO will be unique for its AC hanger ambiance and product variedness. Maximum of the computer Hardware and Software vendors have participated in this ITAO IT EXPO 2014,” mentioned Dayananda Ratho, secretary, ITAO.
