Intex launches Aqua Lions 4G smartphone

Domestic smartphone maker Intex has expanded its product portfolio with the launch of Aqua Lions 4G smartphone. Bearing a price tag of Rs 5,499, the handset will be available in Grey and Champagne colour options.

In terms of specifications, the Intex Aqua Lions 4G sports a 5-inch display of 480x854 pixel resolution. It's powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core Cortex A7 Spreadtrum SoC paired with 1GB of RAM. There's 8GB of internal storage, with support for microSD cards of up to 32GB in size. The dual-SIM smartphone runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow.

For imaging duties, the Intex Aqua Lions 4G has a 5MP rear camera with dual-LED flash, in addition to a 2MP front-facing snapper. Connectivity options in the handset include 4G, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS, with a 2,000mAh battery rounding off the spec sheet.

Earlier this month, Intex launched its Aqua Young 4G smartphone in India. Priced at Rs 5.549, the Aqua Young 4G runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow out-of-the-box and features a 5-inch FWVGA display. It is powered by a 1.1GHz quad-core Spreadtrum processor, clubbed with 1GB of RAM. There's also 8GB of internal storage, expandable via microSD cards of up to 32GB in size.

For images, Intex Aqua Young 4G has a 5MP rear camera and a 5MP selfie shooter. Major connectivity options include 4G, LTE, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS. The smartphone is backed by a 2,800mAh battery.
