Taiwanese smartphone maker HTC has silently announced its mid-segment smartphone Desire 628 dual sim in Vietnam. However, the company has not divulged any details about the pricing and availability of the device yet.
Talking about the specifications, the HTC Desire 628 dual sim has a 5-inch HD display with 720x1280 pixels resolution. Powering the handset is a 1.3GHz octa-core processor coupled with 3GB of RAM. It has 32GB of internal storage which can be further expanded up to 2TB via microSD card.
The smartphone runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop OS. It has a 13MP rear camera with LED flash and a 5MP front-facing camera for selfies. Connectivity options include 4G, LTE, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS. The Desire 628 has dual front firing speakers powered by HTC BoomSound. It is backed by a 2,200 mAh battery.
Recently, HTC reported a massive plunge in its first-quarter revenue. Revenue from January to March was down 64% year-on-year to $456 billion, while net loss in the same period was $2.6 billion.
