Partners in Jalandhar regained some confidence in the slow market as at least one vendor initiated channel engagement program for its commercial partners. Recently, HP commercial team conducted workshops and engaged its commercial partners with the help of Jalandhar Computer Dealers' Association (JCDA).
"After a long gap, HP commercial team has come up with such partner related workshop. In the workshop, the senior executives shared its roadmap for commercial business and gave a comparison of HP commercial range of laptops and Desktop with Competition," said Rajiv Khanna, ITPRO, JCDA.
The association sent a note to the press which mentioned that HP's commercial senior officials including Amitabh Mukherjee, zonal manager and Girish Suri, product specialist shared ideas and discussed opportunities with their channel partners.
According to the JCDA, HP team informed its partners on how to scale their business and profit by partnering with HP. HP also took the feedback and suggestions from the partners to streamline their business.
With the surge of e-commerce sales, business of partners in tier-3 and 4 cities have taken a hit and it seems that this kind of channel engagement will at least bring some temporary respite among partners.
