Honor Breaks The Glass Ceiling, Brings The Face Unlock Feature

Honor announced that one of its best budget smartphones, Honor 9 Lite has started receiving Face Unlock feature via (Huawei's Over the air update) HOTA update. The HOTA rollout has started in batches and will be rolled out to everyone by 5^th March 2018.

Face Unlock Intelligent feature is usually available in flagship level smartphones, however, Honor in its endeavour to deliver unmatched smartphone innovation to the Indian consumers has announced the intelligent unlock feature in Honor 9 Lite also.

To enable face recognition, you need to enrol your face by accusing Face recognition feature in phone settings menu. You can enrol your face by simply looking at the camera. By detecting your face, Honor 9 Lite detects the positioning between you and the phone and adjusts the direction accordingly. Honor earlier had rolled out Face Unlock feature for its most affordable AI driven smartphone, Honor View 10.
