Targeting specific verticals of business, government and education-US based
InFocus Corp has introduced in India its new line of multi-use mobile projectors
in association with HCL Infinet.
With a starting price of Rs 60,000, the projects will be available through
HCL Infinet's channel network. "India is one of our focus markets.
Overall, Indian market for this segment is pegged at around Rs 225 crore and we
would want to ride on the growth in this market by taking a leading role in
providing latest products and services,'' explained Thomson Chan, VP,
InFocus.
The products introduced included the InFocus X2, which enhances the top
selling value projector InFocus X1, new mobile projector InFocus LP70+ and the
latest LP600 with LitePort feature that expands offerings for business
communication and shared learning environments.
V Rajendran, GM, HCL Infi-net said that the market for projectors grew 63
percent this year and with the addition of these products to the HCL port-folio,
the company is ideally poised to garner a substantial share of the market.
