GMASA 2016: Going to rain Apps this July

After two hugely successful editions of the Global Mobile App Summit & Awards (GMASA) in Chennai and Bangkok, GMASA 2016 is all set to storm the Silicon Valley of India on 6th and 7thJuly. GMASA brings together all the stakeholders of the mobile app ecosystem onto a single platform besides rewarding innovations in the Mobile App space. GMASA will also host Entrepreneur Pitch Zone to connect app creators with investors. The summit will take place at the Sheraton Grand Bangalore Hotel at Brigade Gateway.

The first two editions of GMASA witnessed thousands of Mobile Apps from which the best was chosen by an expert jury committee for the awards ceremony. Likewise, GMASA 2016 will also present award for the best apps, and will also feature informative panel discussions and keynote address from the biggest names in the Mobile App industry.

C R Venkatesh, President, GMASA added, “Our aim is to bring together app developers, thinkers from the mobile app industry and investors under one roof. This summit is a unique platform that will provide app developers an opportunity to showcase their Apps to a large audience, and be recognised. The responses for the previous summits were fantastic, but we are expecting much more this year.”

GMASA has 19 interesting categories under which the app developers were asked to submit their applications. The categories varied from apps developed for entertainment, education, lifestyle, media & video, news, medical, music, games, social media apps, to name a few.GMASA also offers the winners a chance to contact potential sponsors and partners as well as gain knowledge from workshops on to how to turn their local app into a global success.

The two day summit will host some interesting speakers from across the app industry including international speakers.  Key speakers includes Mr Ravi Bhaskaran (Head of Business Development India/Asia, Twitter), Arjun Ravi Kolady (Business head E-commerce, Facebook)ShaliniPoddar, (Industry Manager, Google),Ronen Mense (VP, Asia, Appsflyer), Parul Bhargava, (Co-Founder & CEO at vCommission), Mr SiddarthPuri(CEO of Tyroo) among many others.

Early bird conference tickets are Rs 7,500 which includes access to main stage, exhibition area and workshop, lunch, and invitation to badge pickup party, cocktail dinner and speed networking. The Early Bird VIP pass are Rs. 25,000 and this includes access to Main Stage, Exhibition Area and Workshops, lunch for day one and two, invitation to Badge Pickup Party, Cocktail Dinner (Day one) and Speed networking, exclusive entry to speakers lounge and special invite to pre-event party.
