FusionStor appoints new regional distributors

FusionStor Technologies appointed two new distributors in Gujarat and Karnataka respectively. In a bid to expand its footprint in the country FusionStor technologies has now added new channel partners to maintain the pace with the growing IT market in India. Keeping a foresight, FusionStor technology has appointed Shani Peripherals in Gujarat and Digital Waves in Bengaluru as its regional distributors for storage and servers both.

"FusionStor products being technologically superior have huge potential. Products are promising in terms of consumer satisfaction and offer high performance at aggressive price. Thus, proving beneficial for both customers and channel partners. We see a lot of scope for them in the current IT market. They are efficient against the competition," said Kaushik Sonawala, director, Digital Waves.

"We have seen the strength of core enterprise technology which has encouraged us to join hands with FusionStor. We are strategic partner for the Cambium, Motorola, LG, PELCO, Allied Telesis to promote the technology like Enterprise Wireless LAN, Wireless Broadband, security, switching and these new products of Fusionstor will be a backbone of networking solutions. With our sales and technical strength we will be able to offer Fusionstor storage and servers to our entire national and regional system integrators who are covering the verticals like mining, oil and gas, power, education, enterprise, ISP, govt, manufacturing and ISP, etc," added Kshitij Desai, director, Shani Peripherals.

Initially, FusionStor started with 3 distributors in India. Global Infonet Distribution as a national distributor for storage range of products, regional distributors in the western region like Mega Networks for servers in the enterprise vertical and Network Techlabs for the channel, SI and enterprise vertical. Then the company joined hands with KCIS in North and now with the appointment of Shani Peripherals and Digital Waves it has widened its arms in the Indian IT market.

"By partnership with Shani Peripherals and Digital Waves, we look for a strong penetration for Fusionstor in the system integrators and end customer space. We have good market in Gujarat and Bangalore which we plan to reap for mutual benefits," Amod Phadke, CEO, FusionStor Technologies.

In India, FusionStor is headquartered in Mumbai with sales and support offices spread across the country. The company is also setting up a full-fledged research and development center and Proof of Concept (POC) center with India centric focus.
