FAIITA and Taipei Computer Association enters into a business agreement to exchange knowledge, skills set and technology
The Federation of All India IT Associations (FAIITA) and the New Taipei City Computer Association (NTCA) today entered into a business agreement for business exchange. The associations signed MoU to strengthen the business ties between India and Taiwan.
A delegation lead by YEH, Huey-Ching, commissioner of Economic Development Department, Taiwan and Champakraj Gurjar, president of FAIITA inked the MoU in an event organised in Mumbai. The MoU aims at promoting mutual cooperation, exchange of expertise and share the technology knowledge between both the countries.
In an exclusive interaction with the DQ Week, YEH, Huey-Ching, commissioner of Economic Development Department, Taiwan said that the MoU was very critical to grab tremendous business prospects in the Indian market.
“Taiwan is looking for investment opportunities across the countries and India is one of the prominent nations where we want to increase our visibility. India is currently a rising star and Taiwanese companies are very keen to invest in the country”, Huey-Ching said.
Huey-Ching said that around 23 Taiwanese companies were interested in trading in India. He said that the collaboration with FAIITA would help both the trade associations to set up mechanism to facilitate technology cooperation.
According to the MoU, FAIITA and NTCA have agreed to exchange information on the market and industry trends. It will also assist one on one business meetings and trade fair participation. The agreement will promote conferences of the associations in both the regions for the technological cooperation and trade partnership between members.
Champakraj Gurjar, president of FAIITA said that the MoU with the Taipei Computer Association was big achievement for the national federation.
“This is very critical achievement for us. Collaboration with Taiwan has opened doors for new business opportunities for FAIITA members”, he said.
