Aiming to tap business prospects in the Corporate and Enterprise segment, eScan anti-virus will aggressively focus on increasing its brand visibility in the segments. The company said that the company would emphasis on brand awareness among customers and foray into niche markets.
Talking to the DQ Week, Mr. Anil Gupta, AVP – Sales of eScan said, “In 2014, we took a conscious decision of focusing on Corporate and Enterprise in main Metros and niche markets and take our cloud based security to the targeted customers. This year we will be focusing very aggressively on 1000 plus users in the Enterprise and Corporate. We have a separate team in place that will ensure our reach in these segments.”
Talking about eScan Cloud based security offerings, Gupta said that the anti-virus solutions are developed taking into consideration of sophisticated virus attacks and it is built on the futuristic technologies.
“Our cloud based security solutions are based on futuristic technologies. We are not just upgrading the existing technology but we introduce the latest technologies like cloud. The advantage of our offering is that it gives immediate solution for any unknown virus attack”, he said.
On the observation that eScan products available on some of the online portals, Gupta clarified that the company officially does not endorse eScan products on online platforms.
“We are a 100 percent channel company and we do not promote anything online on the portals. We don’t allow any partner selling products online without our authorizations. We are working towards stopping the unauthorized sale of eScan products online”, Gupta said.
Talking about the channel initiatives, Gupta said that the company gives best ROI on investment of partners in eScan and effective marketing and sales support.
Gupta said that increasing the brand awareness and market share, particularly in the Corporate and Enterprise would be the key focused areas of the company in 2015.
