Eaton gets aggressive in North India

The company has launched 'Let's Go North' campaign to promote sales of its single phase UPS in the region

Eaton, a $21.8 billion power management company, is raising the bar of achievements for its North partners by rolling out a 'Let's Go North' campaign in the period of July-Septemeber, 13.

The company has announced this campaign to promote sales of its single phase UPS. With this release of multiple schemes, Eaton is aggressively reaching out to partners, resellers in cities of North India.

Sushil Virmani, sales director, Eaton Power Quality India, says "Partners are an integral part of our ecosystem and this campaign will drive them on a dynamic expansion trajectory. North India is chosen as it is a key destination for manufacturing and operational industries but we hope to replicate this campaign at pan India level"

In this campaign, Eaton has offers for new partners, existing partners and distributor sales team. New partners will get incentives on first orders and participate in a lucky draw on achieving Rs 5L before 30th September'13. Existing Partners can win free UPS and awards proportionate to their sales achievements while Top performers of the distributors Sales team can win Apple devices.

Now, Eaton is undertaking an outreach program to reach out to tier 2 and 3 cities by appointing new regional partners and system integrators. Eaton has conducted Sales blitz in various cities like Ludhiana, Ahmadabad, Mumbai, etc by meeting partners in their respective cities. In mid October, Eaton Tech Day will be organized in Mumbai aiming at its datacenter customers.

Eaton has a dedicated channel program called 'Power Advantage Partner Program', which was launched in 09-10. This is a multi tiered program and partners enjoy benefits and rewards as per their tier - premium, authorised or registered. In this program, Eaton provides experience centers, marketing and sales collaterals, lead gen, telemarketing support , regular product updates and promotional activities.

Virmani added "Today, the manufacturing segments are looking at increasing productivity and reduce operations costs and Eaton offers energy- saving technologies for power protection to various sectors like healthcare, Infrastructure, transportation, government and public sector. Eaton helps its partners to pitch to customers who offer solutions in the space of cloud, business applications, big data, vitualisation and convergence.

The Electrical division of Eaton contributes almost $ 12 billion and is the largest division which provides solutions that manage power. In India, Eaton claims to be amongst the top 3 players while worldwide Eaton is amongst top 2 players. Eaton has services in 32 cities, 100 authorised service centers, 9 branches, 3 regional offices and 1 manufacturing unit.
