Docoss Android Smart Phone Launched

Jaipur-based Docoss has launched an Android-based smart phone priced at Rs 888. Called Docoss X1, the smart phone has been introduced quietly, unlike Freedom 251's launch which was a hyped news.

Docoss has setup a website (first uncovered byPhoneradar) and pre-orders are being booked for the smart phone. it is expected that the phone will begin to be delivered from 2nd of May onwards. there is provision for cash on delivery for purchasing this phone.

The Docoss' website asks buyers to book the smart phone via an SMS. On its social media platforms, the company has requested buyers not to make calls on the number given for SMS. There is also very little information about the company on the website.

It appears Docoss has decided to keep it a low key affair while it builds a clientele for itself. The Docoss X1 smartphone promises a 4-inch screen, 1.2GHz dual-core Cortex A7 processor with 1GB and 4GB of internal storage which can be expanded up to 32GB. It runs Android KitKat and is powered by a 1,300mAh battery along with a 2MP rear and VGA front camera. It is a dual SIM 3G smartphone.

For Rs 888, the smartphone seems like a good deal -- but it is to be verified if it's a genuine product. Another possibility may be that it is using cheap Chinese products to keep costs low. Hence, the phone may be real, but it may not last long or develop malfunction soon.
