Dells’ latest portfolio attracts Vijayawada partners

Under the projection of government, bigger players in the market are now shifting focus from metro to tier 2 and 3 cities. In the series of business conference, Dell has cleared its intention to invest its time and focus on such cities. Latest, the conference was held in city of Maa Kanak Durga, Vijayawada in association with Cyber Media on 5^th October at The Gateway Hotel, where Sachin Menon, Swati Mishra, Sankaralingam P and Hari Hara Kumar of Dell were present.

Conference was kick started by Rajneesh De, Group Editor, Cyber Media, who welcomed the audience in Telugu language lending a local touch to the event. With the latest addition of EMC, Dell has become even bigger in the market, and keeping in mind the latest trends seeing in upcountry cities becoming upgraded, Swati Mishra, Regional Sales Manager for South zone explains the company overview and its GTM strategy to partners. With the expansion, two months down the line, market will witness Dell portfolio to be broader with the emergence of EMC portfolio in it. With that note, she explains the pin points with approach to partners to be engaged with Dell.

Dell is the only company which provides each and every type of solution under one roof. Sankaralingam P from Dell, showcased the commercial client product portfolio to Vijayawada partners. As all users are not same, Dell has classified customers’ profiles into five categories which caters to the entire needs according to user requirement.

Dell is presently focusing on distribution of 3000 and 7000 series in Optiplex, while 360 degree convertible notebook, a new addition in portfolio is not out yet, but will come soon in the market. For the customers Dell has unique services which can be availed by buying them at low cost. Sankaralingam also explains Dell prosupport and configuration services and its advantages to partners. Company has also developed intelligence software Dell precision software and Dell reliable memory technology which detect the problems in memory.

On the path of becoming a smart city, Vijayawada partners were more zealous and interacted with Dell in the open forum. Some discussed on the matter of Dell’s take on DOA policy and Quick support system for customers. The event ended with a networking dinner.
