Dell Warranty Issues Haunt customers

Dell offers onsite warranty for its customer to hassle free after sales service to give solutions at doorstep. But some of the customers are facing worst experience with this ‘So called’ doorstep service from Dell.

BalaPritamAcademy, a customer from Delhi, bought a laptop from Lotus Systems & Services. After few months of using, his laptop had a technical issue. He called and requested at Dell service centre toll free number to check and rectify the issue. Firstly, the Dell’s customer care executive suggested taking his laptop at the service centre. Dell totally denied him an onsite warranty after the upset customer request several time to the customer care centre. Even Dell has denied and not showed any concern in this issue.

However, this customer got one more suggestion from Dell to solve his problem over the call. But as per the customer, the solution they suggested was difficult to process as it needed me to stay 2 to 3 hours in front of the laptop, that to be on the call with the representative which is not possible.

Highlighting the loopholes in the standard warranty policy of Dell, Swarn Singh, LOTUS Systems & Services said, “The consumers see the best face of the vendors when they buy their products. But they need to witness the warranty issues”.

“I am also getting into this matter because the unit has been purchased from our company. These kind of issues causes the loss of reputation and relationship between buyer and the seller in the market.

However, Swaran Singh has tried to connect with Dell on social media platform Twitter but he has not received a satisfactory answer from the vendor.
