Dell launches two new Venue tablets at Rs 11,999 and 12,999

Dell has launched the new Dell Venue 7 and Venue 8 (3000 series) tablets running Android 4.4 (KitKat) with voice calling in India.

The Venue 7 has a 7-inch HD (1280×800) display, powered by a dual-core Intel Atom (Z3460) processor, while the Venue 8 comes with a 8 inch full-HD (1920×1200) display and a dual-core Intel Atom (Z3480). Both the tablets have 1 GB RAM with 16GB inbuilt storage that can be expanded upto 64GB via microSD slot, Waves MAXXAudio Pro audio technology for a premium audio experience and a 4550 mAh battery.

The new Venue 8 has an 8-inch Full HD (1920x1080p) screen and comes with wireless charging as well as MaxxAudio Mobile sound enhancement technology. Dell has released Bluetooth Folio Keyboard and Venue Cradle case (for wireless charging) for the Venue 8, aimed at productivity-focussed users.

Both tablets have the latest Intel processors, Android 4.4 (KitKat) and 4,550mAh batteries. Dell is offering accidental damage service that covers damage against liquid spills, drops, power surges and screen cracks. The company is also offering 20GB of free Dropbox storage as well as PocketCloud and note taking, cloud printing, document retrieval apps preloaded on the two devices.

Dell is also offering 20GB of free Dropbox storage for one year. The new tablets come equipped with a number of apps including those for note taking, cloud printing, document retrieval etc.
