CMDA Pune to organize IT Expo in December

Pune based Computer and Media Dealers Association (CMDA) will organize its 17th CMDA IT EXPO from 11th December to 14th December 2014. This year the theme of the IT EXPO is ‘Get IT smartly – touch IT live ’. The four day tech bonanza will bring vendors and partners on a common networking platform.

This year CMDA has focused on educating people about latest trends in the IT industry. The association will organize 12 technical seminars highlighting latest technology and solution, career opportunities in IT segments.

One of the biggest attractions in IT Expo will be SMB CIO’s conference. The objective of this conference is to bring IT CIO/CTO’s of various organizations on CMDA’s neutral platform and discuss need-based solution.

Aniruddha Menavlikar, president of CMDA said, “We are planning to cover various subjects in technical seminar such as Business Resiliency - Disaster Recovery, Cloud - What is all about? Cyber Forensics, e-Commerce for Business, e-Governance, ERP for SME's and its Success factors, e-Waste - How to take care of the environment, Open Source for business, Safe Banking Practice in the Internet world and Social Media Security.”

For the first time CMDA is conducting IT Project competition amongst final year students of Electronics and computer stream of all IT Colleges of Pune. The first 3 Winners of this competition will demonstrate their innovations in IT Expo.

“This small initiative to support our Honourable Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi’s vision ‘ Make in India’ Project. This will help students to get platform to showcase their innovated product where they will have exposure with various corporate visitors”, Mr. Menavlikar said.

Sanjeev Pathare, secretary of CMDA said, “CMDA IT expo gets huge response from all response from all the sectors i.e. Bigvendors, regional distributors of various products, system integrator, consumable partners & visitors from all business vertical. This year we expect more than 40 to 50,000 visitors to visit IT Expo.”

Major vendors like HP, LENOVO,INTEL,ASUS, SAMSUNG, INTEX,QUICK HEAL,MAX SECURE,NET PROTECTOR , D-LINK, BROTHER,ZEBION, PACO,CUBIX ,KODAK, TP LINK, ZORBA have so far confirmed their participation  in this mega event and  will take this opportunity to display their products  & launch new products in the CMDA IT Expo.

To this event more successful and vibrant for participants, the association will be conducting various activity at expo venue such as free IT directory distribution, lucky draw for visitors. CMDA will also give awards for stall, best sales executives, best innovative product in the expo.

IT EXPO is one of the biggest and only IT show in Pune organized by CMDA. Main objective of the Expo is to promote and display latest IT Technology to Pune City.
