As whole nation is in suspense what GST will bring to them and what not? Some people fearing from it and some not, there are mixed reactions of the whole nation. Some are supporting it and some are against it, some are saying it will allow free flow of material without any entry tax while some are saying it will help big dealers to expand their business at large scale which is not good for small dealers.
As there is nothing clear till now what GST constitutes, associations across India doing meeting with Tally and others to discuss what to do now? How to prepare themselves for the surprise?
So Computer Dealers Forum of Goa decided to organize a meeting with Tally in January. This meeting will also be address by a much known Chartered Accountant of Goa. So the billing and account part is for the software team and business part is address by Chartered Accountant, all members can ask whatever their questions are and Tally will also give some tips on how to tackle the upcoming situation.
According to Mandar Manjrekar, President, CDFG, Goa, “Whatever it looks like, if you are doing everything, you have one dedicated person in your enterprise and there is no any issue in it but the only problem which is not in control is in your chain, if someone not of your enterprise but from other enterprise not uploading the details you will suffer because that particular invoice of your input credit will waste.”
“The waste is in both way that if you are person whom it is sold to, other than the ND if you are a dealer and the person from which you purchase has not uploaded the details of sales invoice, in both cases you will suffer, that is something which is different from VAT, in this you can suffer even if you do not have any faults.”
So till the government does not make any official announcement, everything will be in confusion, everyone is thinking from their point of view and everyone is trying to save their businesses and to expand but how it will be possible someone has to tackle the impact which is not clear yet.
